Labour welcome rejection of Council’s housing cuts

Commenting after the Scottish Government rejected attempts by the SNP/Lib Dem run Fife Council to cut the number of new houses in Fife, Thomas Docherty Chair of the Dunfermline & West fife Labour Party said; “When even Alex Salmond thinks that Fife Council had got it wrong, serious questions must be asked about the judgement of these councillors.  Labour councillors and MSPs along with other opposition politicians, housing experts, house builders, community councils and every other interested organisation said moths ago that the Council was wrong to slash the number of new houses.  People may well want to ask where our Lib Dem MSP & MP were in all of this.  How much longer will it be before they step in and instruct Lib Dem councillors to start putting the people of West Fife first?”
