His parents were shocked to be told that because of the decisions made by the Lib Dem/SNP run Fife Council that there is no room for Louis and his pals at not one but TWO local schools.

Louis and his family live just YARDS from their local school, Duloch Primary, but have been told Louis must travel with thirty others FOUR MILES by bus to school in Inverkeithing instead.

Despite desperate pleas for temporary facilities, Lib Dem and SNP Councillors have ignored local parents, pressing ahead regardless.

Louis' mum, Cara told us: 'We just couldn't believe it when we got the Council's letter. Louis has been at Duloch Nursery for a year and a half and was really excited about starting school with his pals.

'Why couldn't the Council build a temporary extension at a local primary instead?'

'Many people I know round here voted Lib Dem last time because of their education promises. But all they've done is cut services and put our children's future at risk.'

Willie Rennie’s Lib Dem councillors (supported by Dunfermline SNP councillors) are proposing that the grey bin should only be emptied once a month in order to cut costs.

Now Labour representatives are leading a local campaign to force Fife Council to back down from its latest controversial proposal.

Dunfermline resident and Labour Parliamentary Candidate, Thomas Docherty, has launched a campaign with local Labour councillors to force Fife Council to abandon

its policy. Thomas explained; “This is one of the stupidest ideas yet from this Council.  My wife and I have a 6 month old baby son, so it would be impossible for us to get by on a monthly grey bin collection.

Everyone I have spoken to thinks that this is a crazy idea. The Liberals and their SNP allies are deeply out of touch with local people. I’m working with local Labour councillors
